Ashael Has Fallen

Hello all! 

I have news of the most exciting sort. The first draft of Ashael Falling is now complete. It feels really good to be able to say that. Before it goes anywhere near Unbound and my editor, I'll go through at least two or three passes., during which I'll play with the structure, possibly move some chapters around. There'll will be some cuts and filling out of ideas and lots of tweaking of the language, but the story, the main point of the book, that is there, on the page. 

So, what are my writing plans for the moment? I'll be writing a short story for a charity anthology that I've been invited to contribute to. The anthology will be called Rise Above and will have themes of compassion and overcoming adversity. Those of you who have read Ashael Rising might see some commonalities there.

And then I'll begin work on KalaDene three, the book that will conclude Ashael's tale. 

All of this will sit alongside the editing that I'll be doing on Ashael Falling. 

As for when you can get your hands on a copy of Ashael Falling, well, that will happen around six months after the project has funded. So if you haven't pledged yet, now is the time! I'm putting together some fun prize draws for the course of the funding. There will be draws at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% with an additional prize for the person who pledges the most over the course of the campaign. More details will follow soon.
