I first saw this meme on Cookie Break with Sarina Langer but it's hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words and I thought it would be a lot of fun to try out. So let's get started. The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading Face of Glass by Damon Wakes.

It's been a really busy couple of weeks with the editing of Ashael Rising, cover design work and getting ready to move house. All while looking after two active kids and waddling around with a massive bump! So I've not has much time to read as I would like.

Having said that, I'm 90% of the way through Face of Glass and I have been really enjoying it. It's refreshing to read a fantasy novel with a setting that wasn't modelled on Medieval Europe. The book is well written and engaging and I expect to ha a full review up next week.

What did you recently finish reading?

The last book I finished reading was Transfer of Power by Vince Flynn.

Transfer Of Power (The Mitch Rapp Series Book 1) by [Flynn, Vince]

As I said last time, this was a really good read and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys political thrillers. I'm sure I'll be returning to Mitch Rapp's story over time.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I'm hoping to read The Winter Hunt and Other Stories by Steve Lockley and Paul Lewis.

I'm really excited to read this one - it looks great. I do enjoy the opportunity to read short form fiction as well as novels and this is coming from some very skilled authors. I'll be reviewing this one for the British Fantasy Society so expect to see a review on the blog at some point.

Just a short update today since I've had so little reading time recently. Since the move is coming up, there's a good chance that it'll be several weeks before I get any downtime but I'll keep you updated.

Have you read any of these books? Want to? Leave a note in the comments!
